Celebrate the miracle of spring with us at West Bridge for Opus Affair’s monthly #PBFund event!
Happy New Year! If your resolutions include meeting new people, trying new things (especially new cocktails), giving back – we have you covered. No promises on helping you lose weight, but if you meet a new workout buddy at January’s Opus Affair, we’ll certainly take some of the credit.
Both music and a chill are in the air at October's Punch Bowl event. This month's nominees are all music ensembles, presenting music that spans from the 17th century to the present day. This fabulous company coupled with the Alibi's warm atmosphere is sure to make for a cozy autumnal evening. Who are you going to vote for?
September's Punch Bowl is all about giving people and organizations we already love a bit more star attention. Not only will we be treated to more of Kyle's handsome mug in his new role as Boston Opus Affair Host-extrordinaire, we're introducing three "new" nominee organizations. Speakeasy Stage, the Actor's Shakespeare Project, and GrubStreet have NEVER been featured before, which is frankly shocking because they're each so fabulous. We're excited to welcome them to the club. So come by and see these new faces, and the same old usual ones (you know who you are). Old or new, we're a pretty good looking bunch (check out the pictures Diana takes, if you're in any doubt). Who are you going to vote for?
August's Punch Bowl Fund brings us all a little closer to the end of the summer, but it also brings us back to one of our favorite bars, Belly. We'll be trying out the new way of running the PBFund. For those of you that missed the trial run last month at Grill 23, everyone who attends gets a vote when they check in (RSVP'ing makes this speedy process extra speedy). There will still be Punch, plus a few other selections whose purchase contributes to the Fund, but all money goes through the bar. This month we're putting head to head three organizations trying new approaches to getting Boston talking about and experiencing art and music.

Between the new Punch Bowl Rules and three organizations who love to perform the written word, metered or nor, the July Punch Bowl is heating up (don't worry - the drinks are still ice cold). Read more to get to know July's nominees. Who are you going to vote for?
Boston's June Punch Bowl fund showcases a triple-whammy of classical music ensembles. The featured orchestra, choir, and jack-of-all-trades music ensemble each present classical music with an engaging twist: through collaborating with young professional musicians, premiering new works, and/or working with living composers.
