As Coroner, I must aver, today is a very special day. On this very day, August 15, in 1939, a miracle happened in Los Angeles, California. The WIzard of Oz premiered at Grauman's Chinese Theatre, forever changing the lives of gay men everywhere. Such an icon of fantasy and storytelling can only be celebrated one way, but you'll have to wait until this September to see it in glorious remastered 3D IMAX. So until then, come on, ease on down the road, and check out some fabulous #BostonArts #OnTheTown!
Heaven got a new angel this week. Eileen Brennan, most well known for her turns in Private Benjamin and Clue, passed away on Sunday. Maybe she was poisoned. In all seriousness, I couldn't help myself but dedicate this week's column to a jolly good fellow who has never failed to put a big old smile on my mug. So get out #OnTheTown, grab yourself a bowl of monkey's brains, and try to solve the mystery of who murdered Mr. Boddy!
