Posted by Kyle Thomas Hemingway on Apr 29, 2014 7:59:00 PM | 0 comments | Ladies* Who Lunch, Interviews

Right before she dashed off to rehearsal for Into the Woods at the Lyric Stage Company, naturally effervescent lady Erica Spyres sat down with me and, over burgers and a beer, dished on Sondheim, gave me some tips on building an outdoor fire pit, and told stories from her secret past as a child pageant star.

It's Thursday, friends! That means it's time for more fabulous #BosArts recommendations for you to take out On the Town! This week, Graham is joined by the fabulous Andy Chau! This multitalented (and sassy) man currently works as Director of Career Support Services and Student Programs at the Boston Conservatory (the next time someone bitches about how long my name is, I'm going to point to Andy's job title). Andy also works with the Rivers Conservatory Youth Wind Ensemble and Alcyon Chamber Ensemble and recently made his conducting debut with the Fall River Symphony Orchestra (a part of the state we both once called "home"). Let's see what these fine gentlemen have in store for the weekend.

Recently, fabulous and fashionable lady Jessie Schlosser Smith took time out of her busy schedule to talk with me and, over a broccoli rabe pizza and some much-needed wine, chatted about how long it takes to incubate a baby, her secret past as a visual artist, and how she once dealt with an unexpected Thai sartorial conundrum.

This week, joining founder and host Graham Wright for some #OpusOTT picks is the dashing Giuseppe Frustaci! This Opus Affair repeat offender does something involving marketing (you'll have to ask him), runs Hub House Boston, and occasionally can be seen running the Santa Speedo Race. Let's see what these dapper gentlemen are planning on checking out this weekend...

Ladies* Who Lunch: Aisslinn Nosky

The last time she was in town, I snuck in a quick date with rockstar violinist Aisslinn Nosky and, over the largest Hendrick's martini I've ever seen, chatted about Mendelssohn, her natural hair color, and a now-infamous evening of cocktails that wound Aisslinn up in an impromptu guided tour of the Shania Twain Centre.
