And the Tony goes to...KYLE THOMAS HEMINGWAY! This weekend, ironically the same weekend as Boston Pride, Gay Christmas occurs. The Antoinette Perry Awards, coming to you live June 9 from Radio City Music Hall, are a rich and storied tradition where the Broadway community gets together to honor the finest work of the past year. As luck would have it, Boston's very own Huntington Theatre Company won this year's Regional Theatre Tony Award; and in an even further stroke of luck, I will be in attendance with the lovely Huntington staff to root, root, root for the home team (I think this may be the first time I've ever made a sports reference in this column...I may be having a stroke). Be sure to follow me on Twitter for live updates throughout the evening, as well as some man-on-the-street What is Opus Affair? video entries with special guest stars (get your entries in ASAP!).

That's all nice, but I'm sure you're all wondering, "What am I supposed to do this weekend, Kyle Thomas? I'm not going to the Tonys like you are!" Well fear not, #OnTheTown is here to help! Let's get started, shall we?!

Not going to the Tonys but looking to see some gay people sing showtunes? A mainstay of Pride weekend, the Boston Gay Men's Chorus summer concert never fails to delight audiences. This year's concert revives, by popular demand, they've crammed even more divas into this show than the last time they climbed this mountain of Proud Marys (pun intended). Expect classics like Donna, Barbara, Cher, and (of course) Judy; as well as some surprises!

Divas Unleashed: Conducted by Reuben Reynolds III. At John Hancock Hall; 180 Berkeley Street, Boston; bgmc.org. Through June 9. @bgmcevents

Not going to the Tonys but looking for an excuse to get dandied up in the middle of the spring (or summer, as recent weather patterns would have it)? Look no further than the MFA's Summer Party! Now celebrating its tenth anniversary, this black tie affair benefits the Museum Council's support of the MFA! Dance the night away and check out a juried silent auction, then whisk yourself away to City Table for the official afterparty! I hear that a certain Opus Affair founder will be in attendance, so be on the lookout for the dandiest fellow in the room!

The Summer Party: At the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; 465 Huntington Avenue, Boston; mfa.org. June 8 only. @mfaboston
