BOSTON POPS FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR
Of course, I had to. Not only is the fabulous Susan Tedeschi taking the stage, more than a few Opus familiar faces will be there repping with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus! Fireworks, fabulous music, it's all there—just remember to stay hydrated and leave glass bottles at home! 'MURRICA!

THE TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA
Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's annual visit to the Boston Common has finally come round again. Two Gents is full of everything you love about Billy Shakes: cross dressing, infidelity, dopey servant characters, and foolish people falling in love. With a setting evocative of '50s Rat Pack-era Vegas and a scene stealing puppy, there's something for absolutely everyone in this production!
Two Gentlemen of Verona: Produced by Commonwealth Shakespeare Company; By William Shakespeare; Directed by Steven Maler. On the Boston Common; commshakes.org. Through July 26. @commshakes
