The weekend fast approaches and it's time for frequent repeat offender Hailey Fuqua and Graham Wright to share with you their picks for your weekend #BosArts-going!

Hailey: The Art of the Piano at Celebrity Series

What's better than dueling banjos? Dueling world-renowned pianists. Boston resident and pianist extraordinaire presents the second of three recitals of his Celebrity Series mini recital series. Flying solo in the first half, Hamelin will play an entire Brahms program. After intermission he is joined by frequent BSO guest soloist and Grammy award-winning pianist, Emanuel Ax for the Brahms Sonata for Two Pianos in F Minor. This will be an incredible recital not to be missed!

The Art of the Piano: Marc-André Hamelin and Emanuel Ax, duo pianists. At Symphony Hall; 300 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. April 13. @celebrityseries

Graham: Lebensraum at ArtsEmerson

Two men, one tiny room, and a robot maid. Sounds like comedy gold, right? Who wouldn't want to see a live-action silent film with a Rube Goldberg-esque set and slapstick comedy inspired by Buster Keaton? [Note: if the mechanical doll trope sounds familiar to you opera fans, know that the creator of Lebensraum recently directed Tales of Hoffmann at Deutsche Oper Berlin—he's the real deal.]

Lebensraum: At Emerson/Paramount Center Mainstage; 559 Washington St., Boston. April 9 until April 13. @artsemerson / #Lebensraum

Hailey: BodyTraffic at the ICA Boston

[Pictured above] LA-based dance company, BodyTraffic makes its Boston debut this weekend at the ICA with its "Beyond the Edge of the Frame, Kollide, and o2Joy" program. This fresh company is known for their dynamic and refreshing performances and was recently named one of Dance Magagzine's "25 to Watch" in 2013.

☞ Free pre-show talks with dance critic Debra Cash 30 minutes prior to curtain in the State Street Corporation Lobby at the
ICA both evenings. Free post-show Q&A with the company Friday, April 11.

BodyTraffic: At the ICA, 200 Seaport Blvd, Through April 12. @icainboston

Graham: Boston Dance Alliance Gala

Once a year the Boston Dance Alliance throws a party to bring together the local and regional dance community, recognize the work done in that community, raise some funds to support the BDA, and...well, duh...dance. If you can join for the early part of the evening, you can join our excitement as Opus Affair receives the first-ever Top Hat award. If you'd rather just show up for the dancing, then get a ticket for Act II (the afterparty) and proceed directly to the dance floor.

BDA Gala: At the Sanctuary Theatre, 400 Harvard Street, Cambridge. April 11 only. @BostonDanceAll / #BDAGala
