Well hello, ladies and gentlemen! An unprecedented event has occurred: I, Kyle Thomas Hemingway Dickinson, am returning for one night [day?] only as your On the Town tour guide! I just missed my #bullypulpit so much, I needed to step back up on it for a special guest appearance! So without any further ado (because generally I will take a mile when given an inch), let's head out On the Town!

Kyle: Rich Girl at the Lyric Stage Company of Boston

A modern-day adaptation of Ruth and Augustus Goetz' The Heiress (a revival of which played Broadway last season starring Matthew Crawley), Rich Girl throws a—get this—rich girl at a starving artist she's madly in love with under the domineering and watchful eye of her even richer mother. Featuring performances by the inimitable Amelia Broome and Lyric Stage repeat offender Sasha Castroverde, this comedy should be a great night out at the theatre.

Rich Girl: At the Lyric Stage Company of Boston; 140 Clarendon Street, Boston. Through April 26. @lyricstageco

Graham: Fresh Media at the Boston Cyberarts Gallery

Back in the day, you had to wait two years for the Boston Cyberarts Festival and squeeze in as much tech-empowered art as possible for two weeks. These days, Boston Cyberarts has a life year-round: including their gallery in JP, where the Dynamic Media Institute at MassArt open a new show tonight. Even if you never leave the South End, it's totally worth the trip to the Green Street station to see what these dynamic media artists have cooked up.

Fresh Media: At the Boston Cyberarts Gallery; 141 Green Street, Jamaica Plain. Opening night party: March 28 only. Exhibit through March 31. @bostoncyberarts / @dmimassart

Kyle: Marti Epstein & Bethanne Walker at the Fifth Floor Collective

New music by local composers that are still alive. There are actually few experiences cooler than being in the room with the people who wrote the music you're listening to, and what talented and attractive people the Fifth Floor Collective are!

FFC Presents Marti Epstein & Bethanne Walker: At the Community Music Center of Boston; 34 Warren Avenue, Boston. March 29 only. @ffc_newmusic

Graham: Paint Nite Two Year Anniversary Party

The way Paint Nite has taken over the world, it's hard to believe they've only been around for two years...but it's the truth. To celebrate their anniversary, they're putting together a party built around a painting competition—with $1,000 on the line for artists. Spectators can enjoy the celebration and watch the frenzy of creativity, then bid on the final products. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the National Brain Tumor Society.

Paint Nite Two Year Anniversary Party: At Ned Divine's; 1 North Market Street, Boston. March 30 only. @paintnite
