Celebrate the holidays #bosarts style with Opus Affair! This month we’ll be decking the halls with boughs of holly at Restaurant Dante in Cambridge. Who are you going to vote for?
Solas Nua in Boston
Solas Nua means ‘new light’ in Irish. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and the only organization in the United States dedicated exclusively to contemporary Irish arts. Our mission to bring the best new Irish artistic talent to American audiences began in 2005 with the smash hit play Disco Pigs by Enda Walsh. Since then we have presented theater, music, visual arts, film, and literary events including the DC Irish Writers Festival and Irish Book Day. A Boston chapter was launched in 2014 by Jason McCool.
Henry Purcell Society of Boston
The mission of the Henry Purcell Society of Boston is to present historically informed, extraordinary and vibrant performances of the works of Henry Purcell and his contemporaries. Collaborations with other arts organizations are in progress, and HPSOB will be featuring Purcell’s incidental theatre music, operas and semi operas in entertaining realizations of the plays for which music was written, odes, symphony songs, as well as his sacred and secular songs and instrumental music.
Cambridge Art Association
The purpose of the organization, a non-profit educational organization, is to foster an interest in the Fine Arts and Crafts in the community, and to provide a place for appropriate activities and events designed to promote fellowship among the members.
