Why don't we have profiles for organizations?

Since we've added member profiles to the Opus Affair site, I've had several people ask me why we don't have profiles for organizations. Is that an oversight or a deliberate decision? It's the latter: we made a deliberate decision to move organizations to the back-burner.

How is the Opus Affair calendar curated?

We created our calendar to showcase the arts and culture events our members are involved in. Our goal is that it should feel like an online extension of the "what are you working on next?" conversations that happen all the time at our events.

What events are you involved in?

Most event listings say who is hosting/organizing and who is attending...but that doesn't really capture your connection to an event if you're playing in the orchestra, acting on stage, working the box office, volunteering in the front of house, sitting on the board of directors, etc. You're doing more than attending, but you aren't necessarily the organizer.
